How do I get p on my T.V?
I just bought a Toshiba inch LCD T.V and its in i. How do I get it to ? I also just had a comcast guy come out to my house this morning and he gave me a new HD box and it still doesnt give me . I know my T.V. is capable to to its just i dont know how.

The resolution is set by the video, not by the TV. You cant change it, it shows what its given. If you feed it i, it will show i, if you feed it i then it will show you i. As you tune across channels, you will see different formats show up depending on what you are watching.brbri is basically old style analog video thats been digitized. Thats what you get from basic cable. For HD i or p you need to either have HD service from your cable company or satellite provider, their HD equipment and have it connected to your set with either a HDMI cable or component cables.brbrNobody is broadcasting p at the moment because of all the space it takes. To you p, you must have a BluRay player connected to your TV with either a HDMI cable or component cables and play back a DVD that was produced in p.
